Andrew Wright has commended the fight for community libraries on his Blog where he has today, 13th July, described his visit to Old Town Library, Swindon.  During his arduous trek which began on 14th June, wholly by bicycle from John o'Groats to Lands End, Andrew calls in at libraries wherever he finds them open.  He is cycling for ASAP, a charity based at Mid-Cheshire College, dedicated to the support of education and communities in Africa.  Its current project is to provide a building for a school in the mountainous region of Lesotho, to replace the one destroyed by a hurricane.  Andrew's blog has attracted many 'followers'.   He is very keen on libraries and is an avid reader and researcher.  His interest in reading was inspired by working in school libraries in his youth.
